James Hayes

Principle Chiropractor

B Med. Sci, M. Chiropractor

James was exposed to the benefits of Chiropractic from a young age. Suffering from multiple shoulder and back injuries as a result of competing in swimming and soccer, he turned to Chiropractic to treat his ailments allowing him to compete at the best of his ability.

Being fascinated with human anatomy and biomechanics, he completed a Masters degree in Chiropractic so he could turn his passion into a career. He provides relief to members of the community struggling with neck and back pain, headaches, work related and sports injuries.

The most effective treatment begins with an accurate diagnosis of the exact cause of the pain. Once the source of the pain is identified, I explain to you what structures are damaged, what needs to be done and how to stop the pain from returning.”

James believes the foundation to getting the best results for his patients is taking the time to do a thorough case history and examination (functional/orthopedic/neurological). He wants to identify exactly what structures are damaged and the mechanism of injury.

James aspires to get the best results for every patient that walks into the clinic. He tailors each treatment to their specific condition; in other words – no blanket treatments. The best treatment is one that has long-term benefits.

James wants to get you feeling at your best as fast as possible and for that reason he addresses not only the symptoms but also the cause. Once pain free James then encourages each patient to implement preventative strategies in to their lifestyle. These include things such as ergonomic advise and home rehabilitation exercises, that aims to give the patient the confidence to enjoy the things they love without the fear of a relapse.

The world of Chiropractic is ever changing, new breakthroughs in treatment methods are being discovered and implemented in clinical practice each year. For this reason, James is constantly keeping up with the current evidence based research by reviewing chiropractic journal articles and attending seminars frequently throughout the year.
